Title
Visualizing Arts in Santa Maria degli Innocenti
Description
This dataset shows the artworks that adorned the altars of Santa Maria degli Innocenti through time.

It includes works of art that we included in our 3D models, as in the three altarpieces now housed in the adjacent galleries of the Museo degli Innocenti, the lunette that remains within the hospital building, and the terracotta angels that are now displayed in the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, all part of the original fifteenth-century decoration of the church interior. It also contains artworks whose location is still a subject of research, and which therefore we decided not to include in our diachronic digital reconstructions.

Explore these works in more detail through the Florence4D database.
